Katy Tur

 

Katherine Bear Tur (born October 26th in 1983) is an American writer and broadcast journalist who is a correspondent for NBC News. Tur anchors MSNBC Reports. Since 2021, she hosts Katy Tur Reports. She has been a reporter on the NBC news platforms Early Today and Today, NBC Nightly News and Meet the Press on WNBC-TV, MSNBC and The Weather Channel.



 



 Early life



 Tur is the daughter Marika Gerrard and Zoey Tur. She graduated from Brentwood School in 2001 and the University of California Santa Barbara in 2005, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree. She is of Jewish heritage.
